Additional Purchase Order Conditions:

All information pertaining to this PO must be held in confidence by the supplier and no third-party request for information will be authorized unless instructed in writing by HK Machining LLC. representative (hereinafter referred to as “HK”). When ITAR and/or government rated data is noted on the purchase order, the US government restrictions must be followed. If you have any questions concerning ITAR or government rating notify the HK buyer. All concerns must be answered prior to you accepting this order. All documents to be retained indefinitely unless directed otherwise by HK or its customers. HK must be notified before any HK Customer documentation is destroyed.
Any delay in shipment for any reason has to be conveyed to HK procurement as soon as the delay is known by the supplier. Any change to the PO requirements by the supplier must be approved by HK in writing. Notify HK of changes in product and/or process, changes of suppliers, changes of manufacturing facility location and, where required, obtain HK’s approval. Manufactures or machining suppliers must have a quality system in compliance to AS9003, AS9100, or ISO9001; HK may make conditional exceptions based on supplier survey information or applicable customer requirements. Special processing suppliers must furnish processing certifications to HK purchase order requirements and shall not process any parts for which they are not certified or approved. Acceptable quality system requirements are AC7004, ISO9001, or AS9100; HK may make conditional exceptions based on supplier survey information or applicable customer requirements. Supplier must have the ability to ensure the adequacy of the special process provided and provide HK the required documentation per purchase order requirement. If it is determined the supplier is not approved by the facility listed as the Current Design Authority to provide a process listed in the PO instructions, the supplier shall notify HK Machining and return any material provided without performing the unapproved process. Material suppliers must furnish material certifications to HK purchase order requirements and shall not supply material for which they are not certified or approved. When noted on our purchase orders, raw material supplied must be USA domestic material. Acceptable quality system requirements are ISO9001, AS9100 or AS9120; HK may make conditional exceptions based on supplier survey information or applicable customer requirements. The Supplier must have the ability to ensure the adequacy of the product provided and provide HK the required documentation per purchase order requirements. The supplier shall comply with the Counterfeit part program per 252.246.7007 and 252.246.7008. HK Machining reserves the right to enter any workplace necessary to determine and verify the quality of contracted work, records and material for its own representatives, its customers, or government agencies. The supplier shall make records available within 48 hours or 2 business days of the request for access. In addition, the supplier is responsible for product and service conformity, product safety and ethical behavior. For Machining suppliers as required by PO, a documented first article inspection report shall be submitted to Quality prior to the beginning of production. The supplier assumes all financial responsibility for replacement, rework, and material when production of parts is initiated without first article inspection approval from quality. AS9102 FA form when stipulated on P.O. Unless otherwise specified, all records (including radiographic film) of products / processes provided to HK Machining shall be maintained indefinitely. Records must be stored in an area that meets all local Fire and Life Safety Codes that prevents loss, damage, or deterioration. All data stored by electronic means shall be secure with back-up procedures and audited to verify the integrity of the data. HK Machining and/or its customers retain authority to disposition non-conforming product. The supplier shall notify HK Machining as soon as possible of any nonconforming product either at the supplier's premises or shipped to HK Machining. All drawings, specifications, or other data provided by HK Machining shall: (a) remain the property of HK Machining and/or its customers and shall be returned upon demand (b) be held confidential and not disclosed in whole or part to a third party without the consent of HK Machining (c) be disclosed only to the necessary personnel who have been advised of the confidentiality requirements (d) be protected during handling and storage to maintain the confidentiality of the data. Any HK Customer and/or Government owned property (i.e. material, equipment, special tooling, special test equipment, and/or real property) furnished to the Supplier in support of this Order shall remain HK Customer and/or Government Owned Property. In addition, the Supplier in support of the Order shall perform and report activities to HK for this furnished property” in accordance with all FAR 52-245.1 requirements. Any HK owned raw material, tools, gauges, castings or other materials furnished to Supplier by HK in support of the Order shall remain the property of HK, be used exclusively in support of the Order, and shall be identified as the property of HK. All HK Furnished Property shall be returned following completion or termination of the Order along with all relevant documentation. Items are to be returned in the same condition in which they were furnished to Seller, reasonable wear and tear excepted, and Seller shall reimburse Buyer for the replacement cost of HK Furnished Property that is lost or damaged beyond economic repair as determined by HK in its reasonable discretion.
